Orkney & Fair Isle Cruise

18 – 27 June 2026

A nine-night live-aboard cruise on the small ship Hjalmar Bjørge, for a maximum of ten guests. Embarking in Ullapool, disembarking in Kirkwall.

A one way midsummer exploration of Fair Isle and the distinctive landscape of Orkney. This cruise will be operated by Hebridean Adventures, combined with sister company SKYEFARI, providing complimentary wildlife land excursions as part of the holiday in their 4×4 minibus. Joining us will be Chris Gomersall, a regular guide and photographer on our voyages. On this adventure we will be reaching destinations that few others venture to, so a fairly unique opportunity, all in the safety and comfort of our ex-search and rescue vessel.  Throughout our adventure we can expect to encounter amazing seabird colonies, majestic cetaceans and plenty of ancient history.

Transfers from Inverness to Ullapool to meet Hjalmar Bjorge included in the price. Flights from Orkney to Inverness available, but not included in the price.

Group size: 10 persons max

Cost per person: £3690 per person, including nine nights full board, sharing a twin-berth cabin. (Single occupancy may be available for a supplement – please enquire).
