Hungarian Spring Birds

15 – 21 May 2027

A six-night tour based in the Hortobagy National Park in the east of Hungary. We shall be making extensive use of a range of glass-fronted hides in woodland, reedbed and wetland habitats, with likely bird subjects including Black Stork, Pygmy Cormorant, Spoonbill, Hawfinch, and Collared Flycatcher. The iconic and very colourful  European Bee-eater, European Roller and Hoopoe will also feature on our agenda, while a spectacular tower hide gives us great opportunities to photograph Red-footed Falcons. All in all, a jam-packed week of fantastic bird photography.
