We are proud to announce the award of two “highly commended” images in the Biophoto International Photography Contest, as revealed in Budoia, Italy, on 26th September 2015. The theme of this year’s competition was Rivers, Lakes, Marshes and Lagoons, and the subjects of Chris’s photos were common cranes at roost and a white-throated kingfisher in papyrus – both photographed at the same location in Israel’s Hula Valley wetlands.
