Photolibrary
If you have publishing requirements in editorial
or advertising, whether for printed matter or on-line communications,
I shall be pleased to supply photographs to meet your needs.
Reproduction fees are set by negotiation, tailored to image size, print run,
territory, etc, and I try to make them fair and reasonable. Discounts apply for
Registered Charities and conservation NGOs.
My work covers a wide range of images from the natural world which are sampled
in the gallery pages but can only begin to describe
the scope of my collection. I do not publish a subject catalogue or list, partly
because it would be always out of date, but mainly because I do not set out to
cover a systematic A-Z of subjects; rather, I try to take opportunities and look
for powerful, effective images. Usually I find that this approach is appreciated
by clients who can give me their brief and expect in return considered suggestions,
based on sound knowledge and experience. If you need to illustrate the Norfolk
coast in winter, for example, and are unsure about which species to request,
you can leave it to me to make an appropriate selection. Equally, if you have
a precise subject in mind, as the photographer I will know straight away if I
have it on file.
Recent clients include:
Natural England, Scottish Natural Heritage, Joint Nature Conservation
Committee, WWF (UK), The Wildlife Trusts, Friends of the Earth,
Dorling Kindersley Limited, Random House Publishers, BBC Wildlife, Country Life, Scottish
Field, Outdoor Photography, The Times, The Daily Telegraph, International Herald Tribune.
