Photolibrary

We have an extensive library of photographic images of the natural world, birds and wildlife, environmental issues, habitats and their management, to suit all types of communications. Our publication record dates back as far as 1981, and we continue to supply reproduction quality images for a wide range of books and magazines, national newspapers, annual reports, online publications, gift stationery and merchandise, and advertising.

Regular clients include BBC Wildlife and Outdoor Photography magazines, as well as various government agencies and NGOs. Chris Gomersall was the chief photographic contributor and picture editor on the major book titles “RSPB Complete Birds of Britain and Europe” by Rob Hume (Dorling Kindersley), and “Birds Britannica” by Mark Cocker and Richard Mabey (Chatto & Windus).

Licence fees are set by negotiation, tailored to image size, print run, territory, etc, and competitively priced. Discounts apply for Registered Charities and conservation NGOs. Please call us if you wish to discuss.

At this time, we regret it’s not possible to offer a searchable database of images, but you may see something to meet your requirements in the portfolio section of this website. Telephone and e-mail enquiries are welcomed, or alternatively you can source many of Chris Gomersall’s photographs through various online picture agencies, such as Nature Picture Library, Alamy, and RSPB Images.
