Florida has long been considered one of the best places in the world for photographing birds, with fabulous light and fine weather, and most importantly a wealth of confiding bird subjects. On this eight-night tour we shall spend some time on the Gulf coast where we will expect to photograph several species of herons and egrets, roseate spoonbills, brown pelicans, skimmers, terns and a range of shorebirds. We shall also explore a number of inland sites where we will look for ospreys, burrowing owls, sandhill cranes and snail kites, amongst other things.
